Don't Exercise "Learn to Dance"

      Beginner Lessons are below

This page has lessons being offered in the greater Seattle area.  My council the Central Puget Sound Council is listed first along with the clubs within my council.  Also listed is when and where you can find them.  As you can see we have three teen clubs in the CPS council.  But square dancing is for all ages and if you have any questions please feel free to contact each clubs class coordinator.  Or feel free to ask me.

You will also find links to other clubs and organizations listed on this page that are offering lessons in the greater Seattle area.

At the bottom of the page is a list of square dancing definitions you might see or hear square dancers using.

Angels: After graduating beginner lessons you would be considered a "mainstream" dancer and that is what we consider an "angel".  Angels are usually present at beginner lessons to assist with class

Community Square Dances: Everyone welcome to come and dance.

Demo Dances: Everyone is welcome to come and watch.  In most occasions the public is welcome to participate as well.  Except for the rare occasion when we are marching in a parade.

New Dancer or Mainstream Dances: beginner lessons start at the mainstream level.  Once you graduate mainstream lessons all dancers are welcome at New Dancer Mainstream Dances.

Plus Dancers or Plus Dances: dancers who have graduated the plus level are welcome at these dances.

Workshops: are set up so dancers can keep up on their skills and will be specified if they are at the mainstream of plus level.
